Be Set Free Fast (BSFF) is an energy therapy method developed by Larry Nims, Ph.D. According to Dr. Nims, BSFF eliminates the emotional roots and self-limiting belief systems that are embedded in the subconscious mind, and which automatically determine and control most of our experience, self-expression and behavior.

Don Elium, an MFT who assists with BSFF training, answered the following questions in a recent e-newsletter.

How does BSFF differ from other popular energy psychology techniques?
 
BSFF helps set you free to have free and flexible choices where there were only automatic reactions in your life. BSFF requires no physical movements or actions to do treatments. You use a "Cue" (a word that signals your intention to your subconscious) to do ALL the treatment work and free you from troublesome patterns, emotions, or beliefs. 
 
With practice, BSFF goes as deep as you are willing to go with your growth and freedom of choice. BSFF is designed to automatically include every element of your Whole Being in each treatment: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, as well as all of your energy systems. The best part is that your subconscious does all the work for you.

Since you can say or just think the "Cue," you can use BSFF in public, in the middle of a sentenceanywhere, and no one knows but you. That gives you the opportunity to reclaim your freedom at all times.

BSFF does the work to change the problems in every element of your being. Then, you can do the "work" of creating your new life!

In your experience, do you find BSFF results lasting?
 
I have used BSFF for over ten years to be free of physical trauma reactions, early childhood distress, deep grief concerning the loss of my parents, relationship issues, weight loss (and losing more), and everyday life struggles. I use BSFF on a daily basis, sometimes every hour, on everything that I need to address in order to keep my life headed where I want it to go. Also, I am a psychotherapist and BSFF is the main tool that I use and teach to enable people to empower themselves to find freedom from the patterns that drive them crazy.

And, yes, I do forget to use it sometimes. There are days where it may take hours or even a day or two before I realize that I am living with an automatic reaction that is disturbing my inner peace. When I become aware of it, finally, I treat it. I also treat myself to be aware sooner and to recognize when I am not in a state of inner peace.

In addition, there are chronic conditions that I have been treating for several years. Those issues get better and better, but they are still challenging. For these types of situations, an inch of progress feels like hundreds of miles of progress because, typically, the issues have significantly restricted my daily experiences. For other daily, emotionally-upsetting bumps and grinds, BSFF works quickly and well. However, life is far too complex and too challenging to avoid having any more problems. BSFF helps us deal with the ways that life, mysteriously and unpredictably, keeps coming at us!

Some problematic symptoms are easier to treat than others. The more complex problemsthose that are long-term, chronic conditionsrequire more BSFF treatments. However, grief, trauma, and current/recent hurts, tend not to return when treated effectively using BSFF procedures.

One-on-one training can be very helpful to assist you in finding and facing the problems that are out of your awareness and may not be consciously recognized and/or identified as needing treatment. I find it imperative to treat myself for the freedom to be awareespecially when I am not at peace or I sense that I am unhappy in my life!

If a chronic issue does return, the bottom line is that the problems were deeper, more complicated, and the entire matter did not get fully resolved. Therefore, you just treat the issue(s) right then and there with your cue.

Most people also discover, as they get used to more freedom of choice, that they need to look more deeply at what they really want in their lives and who they truly want to be. Then they define those objectives carefully and use BSFF to chart a new path.

Another explanation for reappearing problems can be that, although the problems may seem to be treated deeply, it is possible to re-create the same problems by not affirming and taking consistent action related to the new choices. With BSFF, it is important to consciously decide and take consistent action in this new direction so that your subconscious knows what to support and how to assist you in sustaining the new state of mind.

So, instead of restricting the use of BSFF to relieving problems, remember that BSFF can enable you to live mindfully, lovingly, define who you want to be in life, and strengthen your decision to be that person. You can best use BSFF to discover, define, promote, protect, and advocate a new way of living that brings you more happiness and the successful achievement of your personal goals.
